Silent Gossip
She knows she's a bombshell,
But she acts like she's not.
She has all the guys wondering
If she can use what she's got.
Nobody has to know, she said.
The scars beneath her clothes
She doesn’t dare show,
What would they say
If they knew?
Nobody has to know, she said.
She fell in love with a boy,
Who stole her heart's breath away.
She gave her heart and soul to him,
But it was her body he wanted to take.
Nobody has to know, he said.
Now she's alone,
No heart and no soul.
Just a body lying broken,
She weeps for the blood yet unshed.
Nobody has to know, she said.
The girl with the word 'lies'
Carved into her thighs,
How she wished it would scar
Her broken, bleeding heart instead.
Nobody has to know, she said.
She’s thought about ending it,
About saying goodbye.
The girl who tattoos her skin
With razorblade lines.
Somebody has to know, she said.
It's been a long time
Since she's looked into his eyes.
She can't remember why she loved him.
She can see nothing but lies.
Everybody knows, she said.
